We are a small amateur theatre group based in the Hatfield/St. Albans area of Hertfordshire.
After a successful production of 'Fade to Black' in November 2008, we are currently taking a short break while we plan our future productions. As they say, watch this space!
Our productions have ranged from John Godber's 'It started with a kiss' and 'Bouncers... the Remix' to Ben Elton's 'Popcorn'. From our first musical 'Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens' to Oscar Wilde's 'An Ideal Husband'. In amougst we have done several comedys written by Pete Hawes (a founding member of Act 2).
Act 2's crowning achievement came in the summer of 2005, when we went 'international' and took 'Turn to Face the Change' - a comedy by Pete Hawes - to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. An ambitious move, which paid off with perhaps our most successful production, and proudest moment, to date.
Our main aim has always been to have fun and enjoy ourselves, with the production of highly successful shows being a happy by-product of this. Since our first show in November 2002, we have gone on each time to more ambitious and challenging productions, and we will continue to do so.
